YORK RESIDENCE
The following is a series of interior design visualizations completed in the studio that were commissioned by the interior design practice based in Manchester, UK, Modish Decor. The studio assisted the designer in making her design choices by providing 3 iterations of the spaces and explored various lighting options as well as furniture, textile colours and surfaces.

Fabric samples sent to the studio were carefully scanned and digitally recreated for further realism
and representation accuracy of the interior choices made by the studio.
Featuring Porta Romana wall lights placed above a bespoke sideboard the dining area was designed
to further maximize the opulence factor of the residence.

ATMOSPHERE OPTIONS
The mood of the overall environment is the result of the furniture, fabric and surface materials but also of
the light washing the space and that is why it was important to find the balance between the natural light
coming from the outside environment being allowed through the sash windows in the dining area
and the artificial light coming from the indoor chandeliers, side lamps and the joinery strip lights.

By exploring these various intensities through CG imagery we ultimately were able to
decide what the best design choices would be for the space.

SCANNED DECOR
In-studio scanned decor was largely used in this project and allowed the designer to
have greater flexibility and multiple options over the materials in the scene.

Having explored various options such as brushed brass, reclaimed metal and stainless steel
we ultimately decided on the below dark reclaimed metal.
